New tobacco laws coming in on Friday could change the way you smoke shisha.
Under the new regulations, flavoured tobacco will be completely banned – but shisha will be an exception.

Shisha smokers and proprietors won’t be facing an all-out ban, like smokers of flavoured cigarettes are, but they will have to contend with plain packaging that doesn’t show the flavour.

Here’s what you need to know.

So shisha isn’t getting banned?
No. There will be a ban on flavoured tobacco, in both pre-packaged cigarettes and loose form – but the Department of Health has confirmed to Metro.co.uk that shisha tobacco will be exempt.
